This site is a collection of articles, Bible studies, books, and other thoughts from my life and ministry.

First and foremost, I am a follower of Jesus Christ. I trusted Christ as my Savior on August 3, 1999. The Lord changed my life, and all these years later, I am thankful for His grace and still learning to follow Him.

God has blessed me with a wonderful wife and companion, Wendy, and three children! There is no greater place to live the Christian life than at home.

Since 2010, I have had the honor of serving as pastor of Friendship Baptist Church in Stanfield, North Carolina. I love preaching and teaching the Word of God and serving the people God has entrusted to my care. You can learn more about the church at fbcstanfield.com.

Over the years, writing has become another extension of that ministry. Whether through an article, Bible study, sermon outline, or book, my desire is to honor Jesus Christ and present biblical truth in a simple way that can be easily applied.

I was born in Georgia and raised in Alabama, so sweet tea and grits are still in my roots—and I can still give a “Roll Tide!”
